OBJECTIVES OF THIS WEBSITE

soilhealth.com

In our efforts to extend the knowledge of soil biological processes to land managers and other members of the community, we established this website.

The primary objective of soilhealth.com is to answer common questions regarding soil biological processes, organic matter, soil organisms, and the soil management practices that affect these.

This extension program complements our scientific objectives, which aim to:

  • increase understanding of soil biological processes that influence soil fertility in natural and managed ecosystems
  • provide a stimulating and collaborating environment for research on a wide range of soil organisms in diverse ecosystems
  • ensure strong links are maintained between research activities and teaching in the area of soil science, especially in relation to soil fertility and soil management
  • extend knowledge of soil biological processes to land managers and other members of the community

The information provided by soilhealth.com is intended to extend knowledge of scientific studies about the way in which soil biological processes influence soil fertility in natural and managed ecosystems.
